Kilt Clad Celts Offend Women

I always liked this bit of trivia…

Ancestry/Genealogy/Converso Jews?

During the Middle Ages men in the Scottish Highlands were wearing their kilts a little too short. For when they were jaunting uphill, stooping or the wind caught it just right, women could see a man’s private parts and some were disgusted. Thinking themselves decent and civilized, some of the women of the Scottish Lowlands were not pleased with the spectacle. Although it is said that the style of a man’s purse hung about the waist helped to conceal that which had offended the women.
